The Hardest Goodbye!

I always pondered in my childhood; how it would be, being in my mum's shoes leading my own married life. I wondered if I would be this strong one day. The day I stepped inside my wedding venue; the first person I met there was... my Daddy!

A Daughter grows up to be your Best Friend!

Daughters are the most beautiful gift from God. Yours is the one who, will love you the most in this whole wide world, no matter what, like you've loved your Mom since forever. You two play together, eat together, even fight together but you both are going to be the best company for each other. A daughter is a little girl who grows up to be your best friend.

She will always find you the most beautiful woman in this world, she will fight for you, she will never find you fat, she can't see you sad either, she wants to choose your wardrobe while shopping and also choose your dress when you have to get ready to go out.

Intelligence, Labour & Karma!

We have seen people achieving success at an early age. Some of them succeed in really short span of time. When I got my Master's degree, I thought I am going to be one among the youngest degree holders (since I was blessed enough to repeat any exam) but, as soon as I started working; I came across seniors who were even younger than me. May be they started working early, or may be they were hired during campus placements and got the permanent positions early. But yes! I also imagined myself in their shoes assuming I performed even better though, I have always believed that I did my best in all the examinations. Does it mean that they have better brains? or they are faster as processors?

Roses have Thorns!

Based on a True Story: A friend had shared something from her personal life and wanted me to frame it when she visited my Blog. So, this one is for your sweetie...

Aaliya and Kartik were happily married for a good seven years. Arranged Marriage, not knowing each other in advance, an age gap of almost three years but; they had excellent understanding unlike a lot of couples. She would do every little bit to impress him over and over again, and he would surprise her everytime, in his own ways. Tremendous love for each other's family, friends, utmost care for each other; their marriage had the true beauty. In addition, both being IT engineers, Aaliya and Kartik had a lot to talk in common.

Throwback: Good Old Times!

Childhood is just like a faded Dream which, remains stored in a corner of our senses but, doesn't revive until something related happens in present. You never remember an old advertisement in general but as soon as you see a link on Facebook which says, "Ads, only people born in 80s will cherish", you click at the very first moment, and feel nostalgic while watching those oldie-goldie advertisements.

Healthy gives Health; Not Always!

"Foodie" is the word for me! Tell me one good eatery, and I will be right there next day, tasting their specialty. I don't only like eating but, cooking too. But I know, how difficult it becomes to give a new recipe to the same dish you cooked before you got married but, you put all your efforts to make the best dishes for your new family. I too somehow, made it possible to impress their taste-buds and started experimenting top listed Veg Recipes.

But, on the other hand, it's equally difficult to cook for yourself.

Lost and Never Found! (Part-3)

Recap: http://www.tellingunsaid.com/2017/04/lost-and-never-found-part-2.html

We had a number of reasons for being sad; our trip was coming to an end, time to say Good-bye to my sister's family for an indefinite time, and we were yet to get our ECs. Just one thought which kept us in a positive frame of mind was; may be on time or little late but, we were going home...Finally! The hitch was going to vanish as soon as we'd take our flight to home.

Lost and Never Found! (Part - 2)

Recap: http://www.tellingunsaid.com/2017/04/lost-and-never-found-part-1.html

My husband pulled me to the apartment while I was still numb... I remember, I could hear voices of my dear sister, dear BIL (brother-in-law), and my elder darling niece, "don't worry, it'll be sorted, you must have left it at the apartment." But, I knew it wasn't there.

I had been irresponsible (or may be, not vigilant enough) in taking care of something which was most consequential.

Lost and Never Found! (Part - 1)

Have you ever thought of being alone at a distant place, far from your own people, from your motherland?

It's not a bad idea to holiday alone anywhere in this small world; it's rather Exciting! But, you certainly become alone, in a foreign land...feel absolutely abandoned... in-spite of being with your family when; you are unfortunate enough to lose your Passport(s) there.

A Wednesday; Not Just Another Day!

"Mumy, are you going to office today?", Sneha asked in a husky voice. I asked her if she wanted me to bring anything. A straight, "NO", she replied. I grabbed her in my arms and told her that I'll get her a surprise in the evening (not knowing exactly what could make her happy more than having me at home)

It was her holiday, a day after her School Annual Function. But she, disinterested in any surprise, requested innocently, "please don't go today. I want to play with you, it's my holiday".

When your Husband is your 1st Kid!

Marriage becomes the second management as soon as you realize that your husband needs to be managed first... LOL!

You wake him up for office, you serve him meals, give him wallet, his hanky, you even arrange his almirah at times, etc.

What made me a Blogger!

Writing has only been an Interest for me, which I always persisted just to make my special ones feel special. To my surprise, they noticed that I have some good writing skills. I was always told by my near ones that they get moved by what I write for them. And, I only believed that they felt so, because I always wrote what I actually felt for them since, Truth is always more exciting when it comes to emotions like; love, care & respect. So, I always ignored what they said.
